Goodnight Moon Farm & Rabbitry is a small hobby farm that was started in 2020 located in a little town called Princeton.

How did we get our name?
Goodnight Moon Farm & Rabbitry started in 2020, we had only a few Nigerian Dwarf goats, some meat mix rabbits and a newly added Holstein heifer calf who was the beginning to the crazy Journey. This calf was the most beautiful calf we have ever seen an just had to bring her home. She came from a dairy farm here in Maine, the crazy l drive to pick this calf up was the beginning to finding our Farm name. As any of our fellow Mainers know the roads up here are like “driving on the Moon” well that’s how she got her name.. Every night I could catch myself saying ”Goodnight Moon” after not to long it clicked that this was our new Farm name
Our Standard Cochin’s
Since I was a child my favorite breed of chicken was the standard cochin, so once I was able to I shipped in quality juveniles in from multiple well know Cochin breeders so that we would have a great start to our Cochin Breeding program. 2 years ago our first Mottleds came from Jamie Matt’s Cochins, most our blue and blacks have come from Joe Hadden and the remaining have come from local show breeders from Maine.
Our Holland Lops
All our Holland lops are all Pedigreed, we are working towards quality VMs and VCs. VM stands for Vienna Marked, which is a random white mark that can be large or small. Most VM hollands have bright blue eyes but can be brown or bicolored. VC means Vienna carrier so could pass on the Vienna eyes and marks. BEW stands for a Blue eyed white rabbit. WE stands for white ears. A Buck is a male rabbit, a Doe is a female rabbit.
Our Muscovy Ducks
We just newly added our Muscovy ducks to our farm! We are so excited to be offering Muscovy hatching eggs and duckling‘s this coming spring 2023. We will have black, blue, white, chocolate and many more colors.
